Dr Toyosi Craig is a renowned energy expert with experience in Energy technologies, Renewable Energy, Engineering, and Innovations.
In 2002, Toyosi founded Child Right Forum in Abeokuta while in secondary school to promote Children Rights in Nigeria. He received a Presidential recognition by President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2002 and 2003 as an outstanding Nigerian child and was a member of Special Issue Committee of UN -Young General Assembly from 2003- 2005.
He later founded African Hope Empire in 2006, and subsequently Toyosi Craig Foundation in 2021, a mentorship programme/scholarship scheme for young innovators and a programme to make electricity available to the last mile in Africa. He is an advocate for African culture as can be seen in all his influential posts on LinkedIn.
Toyosi, a 2022 Australian Emerging Leaders in Governance (ELG) awardee (AU-ELGP) , 2018 HSRC Outstanding African Award and 2016 South African Young Researcher of the Year has inventions in solar energy and food processing, some of which have won awards globally. He is passionate about energy access, innovations, and
community development. He had developed systems, and policy instruments to assist stakeholders in various institutions across many African nations.
